Who We Are…

Potomac Ridge Brewing Company will be a destination craft brewery located on eight glorious acres in Washington County, Maryland. Ideally situated between Shepherdstown, WV and historic Antietam Battlefield in Sharpsburg, Maryland. Potomac Ridge Brewing is a local, independent, and family-owned brewery. Our mission is simple: to create a welcoming space in a spectacular setting, where friends, family, neighbors, and guests can hang out, be themselves, and enjoy delicious food and even better craft brews.

Where We Started…

Do what you love and love what you do! That’s the dream, right?

We always dreamed of brewing professionally, but with a thriving photography business and life always in the way, it never seemed like the right time. So we brewed at home and put our dream on the back burner. That is, until a little something called Covid came knocking on life’s door…have you heard of it?

One of the silver linings that came out of the pandemic was being forced to stop and slow down long enough to reevaluate priorities and figure out our next steps. On a sunny Sunday drive to Western Maryland, we saw a gorgeous property for sale and the wheels started spinning. Thus Potomac Ridge Brewing Company was born!

Where We Are Going…

Our plans are well under way to bringing you our dream destination brewery.

We can’t wait for you to kick back in the Adirondack chairs on our sunny patio and listen to local musicians performing in the gazebo or enjoy our delicious brick oven pizza under the shade at one of our picnic tables. Relax by our fire pits, challenge your friends to a corn hole tournament, or walk the grounds and visit pollinator meadow to see our honey bees at work. Then head inside our 15BBL brew house, and cozy up to our fireplace. Feeling the need for caffeine? Check out our other craft brewing company on the property, Little Brick Coffee where we serve hot and cold coffees, teas, cold drinks and grab and go snacks.
